A Dangerous Duo

Phil Jackson took the spot of being a coach of Lakers in 1999. Kobe Bryant was a shooting guard at the time while Shaquille O'Neal, was positioned as a center. These two players formed a formidable duo and led the Lakers to win three consecutive NBA championships.

Coach Jackson implemented an offensive strategy called the triangle offense which led them to win six more championships against the Chicago Bulls.

But even in time their tandem is soon to fade, Bryant criticized O'Neal for putting his salary demands over his team. O'Neal was soon traded to Miami Heat after the growing tension between him and Kobe Bryant.
